“It was our profound privilege to worship on Sunday, August 24th, at the historic Providence Baptist Church, the revered site where the Declaration of Independence for Liberia was signed in 1847.
The esteemed US Senator Raphael Warnock, also the Senior Pastor of the iconic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, delivered a powerful and spirit-filled sermon titled “Faith from a Rearview Mirror.” His thought-provoking message resonated deeply with the congregation, inspiring reflection and spiritual growth for the nation of Liberia and the global community.
My wife, Supervisor Dr. Irene Moifoi Daniels, and I were blessed to have worshipped alongside our Baptist brothers and sisters in Christ, experiencing a profound sense of unity and fellowship. As we celebrated Flag Day, a national holiday that commemorates Liberia’s Independence Day, the atmosphere was filled with jubilation and patriotism.
Students from schools across the nation donned their vibrant, colorful uniforms, creating a breathtakingly beautiful scenery that was a joy to behold. We share a few snapshots from our day of festivities and activities, which captured the essence of Liberia’s spirit and resilience. As we reflect on the nation’s celebrations
