We were honored to worship with Salter’s Chapel AME Church in Langston, Oklahoma, on Father’s Day, June 15th. As the guest preacher, we experienced a truly spirit-filled service that was a testament to the community’s faith and dedication.
This visit held special significance as it coincided with the home church of Dr. Jean Bell Manning, whom we had the privilege of recruiting to lead AME University in Monrovia, Liberia. Under her dynamic leadership, the university witnessed remarkable growth, expanding from 800 students to over 4,000.
We are deeply grateful to Pastor Rev. Earl Williams and the Salter’s Chapel AME Church family for their generosity. They raised an impressive $830.00 for We Care for Liberia, supporting the ongoing renovation, restoration, and reconstruction of the Topoe Town School. Their kindness and commitment to giving back are truly inspiring.
This experience was a powerful reminder of the impact of community and faith. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Salter’s Chapel AME Church family and leadership for their warm hospitality and generous gift.
Bishop David R. Daniels Jr.
