On the Road to Topoe Town

On October 24, 2024, I flew to Liberia to see the Topoe Town School. I took the journey on October 31st against advice, because of the condition of the road. It was a challenge because what is usually a 42 minutes drive from Buchanan, Grand Bassa County took us 4 hours and 33 minutes. I was determined to go to visit with the people and especially to assess the condition of the school. I knew it was God who made me to refused aborting the trip because there were over hundred people waiting to with me.

These people waiting for my arrival had traveled a day before the day of my arrival. They came to plead with me to please reopen the school. All of them pleaded with tears. Their children were all out of school since the school closed. It was a humbling sacred moment for me.

I vowed by the grace and help of God to do everything within my power to reopen the school by August 2025. See the attached photo and join us on this sacred journey to educate the underprivileged and destitute wonderful children in those surrounding villages.
